Doopoco Enterprises offers our clients a unique expertise for the design and fabrication of custom kitchen cabinetry in California. We understand the importance of the kitchen as the hub of your home. More activity takes place and more time is spent in the kitchen than any other room in the home. In this age of diminishing free time, we want the kitchen as efficient and comfortable to work in as possible. Function is key, yet Doopoco Enterprises also understands that our clients want a kitchen that looks beautiful as well. Whether your tastes are contemporary or traditional, we offer our vast expertise from building our custom furniture to help create kitchen cabinets that have the look, feel and lasting quality of hand crafted furniture.

We bring decades of experience and the latest kitchen design research to help you create a kitchen environment that is ergonomically efficient. We have recently taken advantage of Blum's Dynamic Space approach to kitchen layout. Blum is a cabinet hardware company that has always been at the leading edge of innovation and quality, as a result we have used Blum hardware in our cabinetry for over 20 years. Dynamic Space is a concept of kitchen zones that takes into account storage needs, organization requirements and ergonomics. Using this approach has brought a 20% improvement to the efficiency of kitchen work flow and storage capacity over the traditional kitchen design approach.

Dynamic Space divides the kitchen into five zones: consumables, non-consumables, cleaning, preparation and cooking. We will provide you with a personalized arrangement to fit the overall layout of the room and your specific needs. These different zones will contain specific items ensuring an efficient work flow.
Over the years, we have seen too many kitchens that did not provide adequate storage. We will help you to take advantage of the latest innovations in space-optimizing kitchen cabinet hardware.
Having enough storage is just part of the picture. Like most people, you probably have experienced frustration with base cabinets and pantry cabinets that only have adjustable shelving. This arrangement requires one to bend over or get down on your knees to sort through 22" of cabinet depth to find what you are looking for. We will create optimal access to your storage space using drawers mounted on full-extension, soft-closing slides. We replace shelves in base and pantry cabinets with drawers and pull-out shelves to save you your back and your time while working in the kitchen.

360 individual operations take place in an average kitchen each day. Proper design and planning is essential to creating a successful kitchen environment. Remodeling and replacing your kitchen cabinets is a large and very important investment. Doopoco Enterprises will work with you throughout this process to help ensure that the kitchen you've dreamed of becomes better than you could have hoped for. Please email us or give us a call at 805-983-2701.

We worked with the client and local designer Pamela Densen to
create a furniture style kitchen out of solid cherry. These custom kitchen cabinets were part of an extensive, whole-house remodel that included cabinets in the dining room, the master bath and a home theater cabinet. The styling includes shaker style doors surrounded by vertical chamfered posting & beaded horizontal trims. On the lower cabinets, the posts act as legs to give the cabinets the furniture look that the client was looking for. Toe kicks are black & recessed more so that they disappear. This was a re-facing project in a beautiful hillside home in Malibu.
The owner had put much effort into making the living spaces
warm and comfortable. The kitchen was the last room to be
worked on. The new cherry faces, tile tops, and new appliances
have made a dramatic change. The owner contributed with great
ideas to use the space to the left of the ovens for wine storage
and the mug storage above the microwave in the picture to the
right.

This project was an augmentation to an existing kitchen
in a new tract development. At the clients request, we
extended the left run of cabinets and granite top to
provide a waste management cabinet, a wine cooler
and additional storage. We replaced the existing island
top with a new black granite top that now provides for
a breakfast table. We also added the small radiused
open shelf that you see on the left.
